Do you only do alterations for wedding dresses?

Yes! Although we used to do it all, now MAD focuses only on bridal. However, if you have booked bridal alterations with us, we can typically accommodate other bridal outfits, including second looks and rehearsal dinner dresses.

How long do bridal alterations take? 

We recommend scheduling your first fitting at least 10 weeks before your wedding date, with follow-up appointments every 3-4 weeks. Most brides require two fittings to achieve the perfect fit. If your dress requires extensive alterations, we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid rush fees.

When should I book my bridal alterations appointment? 

Studio appointments fill quickly, so we recommend booking as early as possible. Brides may reserve their spot up to one year in advance. A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required to secure your booking, which will be applied in full toward the cost of your alterations.

What do I bring to my fitting? 

Bring any items you plan to wear with your dress that may affect its fit, such as shapewear and shoes.

Is there nearby parking?

Yes! Free parking is available in the lot at the studio. Please disregard any "pay to park" signage — our clients are covered and will not be charged.
